It was awesome seeing what used to be a lake. Can't wait to see it filled again.
5 months agoOne of best parks in Emerald necklace, one of few that have complete intertwining 3+ mile loop. Lower path resembles a mud pit (or row) in places. But the outer nice asphalt path you'll mostly stay clean. Dam is Under construction now, hopefully they get it back before too long.
2 years agoA great park in a nice spot. Plenty of trails and even a swimming area. The dam makes a nice waterfall and the lowhead dam makes the swimming area. Like most Cleveland metroparks, it's kept clean and well maintained. Definitely worth the visit for families, dogs, and people of all ages.
7 years agoEven though the lake is closed since they are refurbishing it it's still a beautiful place to walk lots of families and dogs.
a year agoI've loved Hinckley lake since I was a kid. It's just sad to see it now that they are draining it to fix the dam and dredge some of it. It will be awesome again. Everything the Metro parks do is beautiful.
