Absolutely incredible to catch the northern lights here tonight! (12th Nov 2025) Arrived around 11 pm and was surprised to see them clearly from the marina—an unforgettable experience. The area felt safe and welcoming, with a decent number of people still out fishing and visible police patrols making regular rounds in their cars. The atmosphere was serene, peaceful, and perfect for both stargazing and night fishing. Highly recommend visiting if you’re hoping to see something extraordinary in Cleveland, especially on clear nights! Note: The northern lights were faintly visible to the naked eye, but night mode photos on my phone camera captured them brilliantly
4 months agoCan be a great spot at times. BUT avoid the evenings and weekends! Way too crowded, too many people partying, drinking, and LITTER all over the place! Even though maintenance does the best they can, the people that visit couldn't care any less and continue to trash it Every. Single. Day. I'm really not surprised and disappointed that CMP doesn't patrol this at all.

2 years agoI can't believe I never was here since I was born about 2 miles away. It was a very nice day and the Marina serves food and has gas for boats.
a year agoLoved it quite beautiful peaceful and safe the ranger comes through checking the whole grounds an the views of the lake and Downtown an planes flying over you from Burke Lakefront Airport its a hidden gem in the city.
