With over 4 stars this place had to be good at some point in time however it is not very good anymore. Service was mediocre and that was the best part. Really wanted a chicken quesadilla but it's $8 to add chicken to an already $8 item. So it is $16 for 1 quesadilla! I opted for the corn beef at a more reasonable price but. It was horrible. When I got the menu that has 16 pages with everything under the sun on it, deep down i knew it was gonna be terrible. No place is good at everything. The cheesy fire station decore was well overplayed and I wish they put that kind of effort and enthusiasm into their food. The food in the pics were taken as is. This is how the plates were presented. The bacon that you see in the pic is all the bacon that was on the BLT. There was no more hiding on the sandwich. I'm not sure if this place just doesn't care or if maybe we weren't regulars but I won't be going back. I will say that the place did seem clean. Even if the food prep was being done at the bar.

My girlfriend and I thought we’d come here to try it out for the first time since we saw they have gluten free options and I have celiac disease. Our experience here left us pretty disappointed and feeling borderline robbed. Firstly, the tables are quite close together. So close that you might as well be sitting on the lap of a random stranger next to you. Then when ordering I asked the waitress a simple question about cross contamination and she almost got annoyed like I was bothering her while I’m trying to watch out for my health condition. I would’ve liked to see her be trained to be more knowledge on celiac disease and/or gluten allergies as they are fairly common today. That is just something minor though, not a huge deal. I don’t expect to be catered to because of my health condition, but I do however expect to be treated respectfully when I’m just asking a question about the food. Not be treated like I’m bothering you. Secondly. The food. The steak sizzlers were pretty good as an appetizer. Some were a little tough to chew but overall pretty good. I got a burger (gluten free bun) and my girlfriend got the patty melt. We both agreed they were extremely bland, almost like the patties had no seasoning at all. My burger tasted like I was eating a grilled cheese because I literally couldn’t taste the patty. I got mashed potatoes as a side which were perfectly fine. I also got broccoli. The broccoli was frozen great value “steam in a bag” is my guess. It was just really gross even with salt… but it gets better. Lastly. The cost. Holy crap. We spent $70 for the two of us for the most mediocre high school type lunch I’ve ever eaten. I saw on the bill that the broccoli was $4! The waitress told me the burger only came with one side after the fact which was my mistake as I didn’t ask I guess. So it was $20 for a trash burger and one small scoop of mashed potatoes. Insane. Then we got charged $4 more for steamed broccoli. At $4 you couldn’t even sauté it with some garlic and make it edible?! Then to top it all off, we were charged a card service fee which was never even told to us and we only noticed from looking at the receipt. How can you charge someone a service fee without even telling them in advance? Overall, really disappointing experience from the server with an attitude to the terrible food at a high price. I had better expectations since most other reviews are good.
