“This was my husband’s and my first time dining at Morton’s Steakhouse in Cleveland, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The food was absolutely not worth the price, and the hype surrounding this place is definitely overrated. I ordered the 12 oz filet, and my husband ordered the tomahawk steak. Both steaks came out burnt, which you can clearly see in the photo. For a high-end steakhouse, this was unacceptable. We also ordered a Caesar salad, and it was honestly horrible. The smell alone was overwhelming—it reeked of fish. We couldn’t even eat it. Our waitress was kind enough to bring us a plain salad with dressing on the side, but sadly it still smelled and tasted like fish. It was obvious the dressing had way too many anchovies, making it completely inedible. We attempted to order a loaded baked potato with no salt, but were told they couldn’t accommodate that request. Instead, we ordered onion rings, which arrived cold and tasted awful. The only positive thing I can say is that the bread was good. Overall, for first-timers, we were not impressed at all. With prices this high, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, this visit did not come anywhere close to “wow.””
