What Visitors Say
The previous reviews are pretty spot-on: customer service and friendliness are lacking, especially from the manager. Other associates haven't caused any notable issues. The quality of products is not what you'd expect for the prices. It was like pulling teeth (and receiving a talking-to) for a simple return within the 30-day window. The manager rejected my wife's attempt to return yesterday. So my wife called WS customer service and was told the return should be no problem. So I went back today and had to stand my ground to get a return with receipt in hand. That's not how I like to deal. I tried Crate and Barrel today to buy a replacement for the baking sheet at WS and was pleasantly surprised. Looks like my allegiance has shifted to a new store!
a week agoToaster keeps zapping me finger and burning both slices of bread into a fine mist . There somebody there I can talk to about this ? Bought myself a brand new toast master 4 slot and each time I press it down the lights flicker in my kitchen and the fresh cut sourdough gets burnt to a bloody crisp . I tried the settings menu but I can’t get it to turn off . PRESS FOR TOAST is all it says . Light or crispy I like it crispy but I’ll upload a picture this thing chars bread slices until there is no remains . Can’t even spread butter on em . Are these energy star rated ? Or able to be turned down a notch? Factory warranty says redeem to claim code in store ? Whatever that means . I just want to make some toast
a week agoWilliams-Sonoma came through for us when no one else would. My sister needed a meat cleaver for her husband for Christmas, and she couldn’t find one anywhere. We tried sur la table, but the knife guy wouldn’t really give us the time of day. So she called Williams-Sonoma and they had a meat cleaver! (NOT a wimpy vegetable cleaver). The women working there were very nice, and this is a well stocked store.
2 months agoTook a chance on $50 popcorn seasonings for a Christmas gift, but forgot that my kid just got braces and can't eat popcorn. WS doesn't allow returns on food items, however. Unopened and obviously unmolested food items, so now I feel extra stupid for splurging on popcorn seasonings for $50. If you're going to be a purveyor of overpriced and unnecessary food items, you should at least have good customer service and friendly return policies. The woman at the desk was talking crap about customers to two other older customers as I was waiting in line. Classy. Hadn't been to WS in years and will happily avoid once again.
2 months agoTake your money elsewhere!! They pick and chose who they want to greet and help. This is the second time in the past 2 weeks I’ve came trying to buy a 2,000$ coffee maker but the workers are so rude and do not want to help or greet. Went in this afternoon and there was 2 or 3 older women working ALL of them were helping the SAME one lady. This happened when I came 2 weeks ago too. So if you’re not an older white women they won’t help you or bat an eye. Terrible customer service these women should be fired. Unfortunately took my Money elsewhere.
