We went here on a spontaneous adventure. We were looking to do something that was new to the kids, outside of the house and a different form of exercise. We found all of that right here. We had to sign an online waiver. Definitely complete it before you come and definitely make a reservation now in COVID times. The people we encountered staffing the area were all really nice and very helpful towards all of our family today. They helped us in and out of the canoe and even gave us a good turnaround point for the amount of time we wanted to be out. They have multiple types of water craft to use. Next time will be tandem kayaks for us! Thanks for a friendly and fun time. Would recommend this to others. Make sure you do the online waiver, print it out and bring along. Also, make reservations as due to COVID, the availability of their craft has been reduced at the time we visited. Only issue we encountered was getting through on the phone. We left a message and they did return our call. But took a short while. Thanks for a great experience. We will be back.

West River was exactly what my family needed! With everything going on these days, it was perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon. My experience with them was great because of three specific things: the staff, the equipment and the environment. The Staff: Booking was extremely easy and the staff member who worked with me answered all my questions to set me up with the perfect experience for my family. She was not pushy and did not seem agitated with my countless questions. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely and getting out onto the river was fast and easy. The Equipment: Everything was washed and clean. It was much appreciated given the circumstances. The canoe itself was really nice and made our experience even better. For the price it is an absolute steal of afternoon. The Environment: I will say finding the place is a little harder than I would have liked, but because of my questions, I knew exactly where to go. The river itself is a nice and relaxing paddle and the scenery was a great change of pace than what we were used to. About halfway through our trip we pulled off to have a picnic lunch on a beach and let the kids play in the water. Overall, whether your looking for something to do with your family, or really enjoy water activities; I HIGHLY recommend people take their business to West River Paddling Company.

Loved this place! Employees are helpful and kind. We took a 3 hour paddle up the river as newbies and we enjoyed it so much. Beautiful river and decent prices. We plan on another trip before they close up for the season

We went with a group of 3 and had a great time. The attendants were very informative and helpful. Ended up staying out on the water for almost 3 hours. Scenery on the river is beautiful. Would definitely recommend. It was a great experience.
