The Pond - Ice Rink & Sports Complex: Cleveland Ice Skating Rink Guide

One of the nicest rinks I have visited! They have slightly heated seats and heaters that work in the stands!!!! I was way over dressed and appreciated being warm while watching hockey. Also the bathroom was decorated in tennis shoes and made the environment feel fun. They had nice furniture, a nice party room. It was a very welcoming environment!!

In from out of town for a game and this is by far the nicest rink we’ve been too in the 3 years of traveling for hockey. The building is warm, beyond clean, and so well maintained. Tons of accommodations and additional little attractions for teams, parents, families, kids, and “rink rats” 😃 (arcade, brand new beautiful party room, puck shooting room, etc.) Owner is hand-on, friendly, and obviously takes a lot of pride in her facility. Hope to play here again in the near future! Kudos to the owner for providing such a nice environment!

I took my almost 7 year old daughter to skate for the first time today. Having looked at pictures I was able to see that there were things that would assist her in staying up while starting out. Once there I discovered there are only TWO seals available for rent, which I would be happy to pay to rent but they were taken. They have roughly fabricated ‘walker’ apparatus that we were able to use. Major issue with that is there were literally 3 of those. People literally hovered around us the entire time, following us waiting for her to be done using it. I understand why they wouldn’t want a ton of those things on the ice but there should be way more available than THREE. Also, the arcade left much to be desired. There were almost as many games those were out of order as there were actually working. Your options were a shooting game, a race car game, a shooting game or 1 of several claw machines. Not very younger kid friendly but we’d already bought the tokens before we realized it wasn’t worth it.

Haven’t been here in years and my husband and I decided to bring our 2 year old.. this was the first and the last time. First of all, it cost us $50 for 1 hour to skate. My husband and I each had OUR OWN skates so we did not need to rent but were still charged full price.. they used to have discounted prices if you brought your own skates. Secondly, I think it’s crazy to charge the same price for a child who isn’t even going to be skating but pushed around on an apparatus that you also charge $10 for. You want to charge full price for my 2 year old fine,I think that’s crazy, but then you should at least include the push cars in the rental fee for kids that need them. Overall extremely disappointing and unfortunately not something we would spend that much money on ever again.

We hosted our daughters’ birthday party at the Pond and it was a great experience! Easy to plan and they had everything set up for us in the party lounge area ready to go. Thank you for the fun and service!
