The Cliffs at Hocking Hills: Cleveland Resort hotel Guide

INCREDIBLE!!! My husband and I took our 15-month-old on a little winter getaway to The Cliffs at Hocking Hills, and we had the most incredible time! I told my husband on the drive home that it was truly one of my favorite getaways ever! We stayed in one of the 2-Bedroom Bungalows, and it had everything we needed/wanted. The outdoor space alone was amazing — a private patio with a comfy couch and chairs, a fire pit, and a hot tub. Inside, the aesthetic is what initially drew me in... and it exceeded expectations! It’s cozy, chic, modern, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully designed. The full kitchen made such a difference, especially traveling with a little one. Having a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee setup — all the essentials — made bottles, snacks, and meals so much easier! Before we even arrived, the incredible hospitality stood out. Josh texted me with everything we would need to know, along with a digital guidebook that made planning extra easy. Samantha also reached out after noticing we were bringing our baby and kindly offered a pack-and-play so we wouldn’t have to pack ours. That small touch meant so much (and freed up valuable trunk space!). We did a culinary package, and we are so glad we did! They partner with incredible Ohio vendors to deliver beautiful, absolutely delicious cuisine directly to your bungalow. Subash personally delivered our meals and set them up on our table for us. The custom wooden tray presentation was such a cool touch! We hiked Ash Cave, which was perfect with a toddler... easy and scenic. We also visited Hocking Hills Winery and enjoyed live music, which made for such a relaxed and fun afternoon. One gem we wish we had taken even more advantage of was the Lookout area. It's a common building open to all bungalow guests with cornhole, a grill, charming chair swings, a bathroom, tables, fire pit, etc. It was so cute! Sandstone Falls (the swimming area) was closed for the season since it’s February, which of course we would have loved to experience — but I guess that just means we’ll have to come back! ◡̈ If you’re considering visiting in the winter, don’t hesitate! It’s still absolutely beautiful and makes for the perfect cozy escape! And I'm sure the summer is just incredible. Thank you to The Cliffs for such a wonderful, memorable experience for our little family! We can't wait to come back!

It’s an amazing project experience all around. Team Cliffs have such an attention to detail in everything. From the layout, privacy, high quality everything- boardwalk, lights, decor, furniture and the lists goes on and on. Their hot tub, oversized balcony, every single thing you can think off to an luxurious stay experience, they nailed it and more. It’s truly an exquisite experience. Highly recommend.

Perfect for my camping-themed birthday! I had 11 guests, and the cabin was very spacious with a great number of bathrooms for our group size. The thoughtful touches and amenities such as cozy blankets, speakers, and toiletries made the stay totally worth it. Everyone loved making s’mores at the fire pit. I did hire my own private chef so I could have a more personalized menu than what was offered, which worked out perfectly for our celebration. The property manager, Josh, was quick to respond and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Cliffs Bungalow! The views were absolutely stunning and the fresh, clean air made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Airbnb itself was spotless and very comfortable. We used the sauna one morning and it was perfect. Bungalows were close to the parks and easy to access. The rooms and bed were like sleeping in a cloud while seeing the foliage of green right outside the window. Communication was easy and the digital app was great to access all information we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

The Cliffs paid special attention to every detail. It is an enormous, modern property, but still felt very cozy and intimate. The waterfall was amazing and we could even enjoy it while in the hot tub. There are modern appliances, games for the kids, comfortable beds, and more than enough towels and extras. There was even a cabinet full of items if you forgot any necessities. I can't say enough good things about this resort/cabin. Absolutely stunning inside and outside!
