What Visitors Say
Beautiful course. I’ve always loved Seneca but haven’t been in a while and I remember why! I love golfing to death but I’m not the best at it, and Seneca is a moderate course toughness wise. I was getting more adjusted to the course about halfway through, but this course can be difficult if you aren’t the best at golf like I am. Pricing is reasonable, and the entire course is extremely well kept. I’ve had trouble finding balls in the rough at other courses, but here wasn’t a problem. Roughs, fairways, greens all those are extremely well cut and very well kept. Come here if you haven’t yet! They’re also adding a driving range supposedly so that might be more of a reason to come out.
9 months agoThis is a nice golf course with reasonable fees. They have a pro shop and cafe. The employees are friendly and helpful. The building is clean and well organized. The course is not the smoothest when you are driving the golf cart around. The fairways a little rough too. The holes are well marked. The area is surrounded by beautiful trees in the fall which makes it very picturesque. We had a good time there.
2 years agoI loved x-country skiing here today.
a month agoHad an 8:20 am tee time on 9/22. Played the "Back A" 9 holes. This course is by far the worst condition course I have ever played on. I don't expect anything great going to Seneca, but this course was barely playable. Fairways are all ripped up and brown, I couldn't believe they are still sending people out to play "Back A" when it is in that bad of shape and IT IS PERMANENTLY CLOSING IN A WEEK, let alone charging you FULL PRICE. WHAT A RIPOFF. I would have gone to another course if I knew it was going to be that bad. I will not be going back to Seneca unless I get a refund for that round. See picture of what they call a "Fairway"
a year agoReview edit, I was whiny about our 4-some being stuck between 2 twosomes. Sometimes you get no-shows. This was the first time that I have played here since the remodel. I loved it! The course is in great shape. Bunkers are really well maintained for a city course. 2024 update: I met a co-worker to golf on a Saturday afternoon. We were trying to fill out a foursome, but wound up with 2 and let the course know. We were paired up with another twosome who turned out to be great. Play was slow and we waited on every shot. As we wait on the 7th tee, this Napoleon Dynamite-esque teenager walks onto the tee with us and says “can I play through?”. Doesn’t look at us, just walks onto the tee and hits. How does the starter even let that happen? The group in front of him does not let him play through, so he is just by himself in a solid block of foursomes for the rest of the round. Oh, and a group was let out in front of him at the turn. Still, was a beautiful day, the course is looking good. Just expect shenanigans on a Saturday at Seneca.🤷♂️
