Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens: Cleveland Event Venue Guide

Our first time at Sapphire Creek was Feb 4th 2026. It was a random find through Open Table, and there was hesitation because we would have to drive an hour to get there. I am so glad we took a chance because it was soo worth the drive!! The restaurant has high ceilings and windows galore to let in all of the natural light, allowing you to see all scenery outside. It was snowing the first time we went and it was such a breathtaking view. Our server Lauren K. was so helpful explaining the menu and making wonderful suggestions. The smash burger and honey hot chicken sandwich were delicious recommendations! She also suggested the tiramisu, and it did not disappoint!! We liked this atmosphere so much that we made reservations for Valentine's Day. We asked to have Lauren K. as our server and the manager was very accommodating! This time we went for the lobster gnocchi and tortelloni with chicken. Let's just say we didn't have any leftovers!! For dessert, we split the creme brulee AND banana foster!! We anticipated that on Valentine's Day, there would be a fast pace, high turnover of tables. We didnt get that vibe at all. We never once felt rushed and the food actually came out faster than we were anticipating. I would highly recommend Sapphire Creek Winery for, not only special occasions, but for a middle of the week date night!!

So my girlfriend and I went on Valentines Day since we went the previous week to test it out and loved it. I got the lobster gnocchi, and she got the chicken tortellini. We shared a bottle of Moscato, which went by quickly. Our dessert I had her finally try Creme Brule and then we had the valentines day special of banana foster! Lauren K. was our waitress both times and we really enjoy her the first time so we requested her for valentines day! She brought a few items over for us for our first valentines together, and was very nice and answered all of our questions. All of the food here, drinks, and desserts were phenomenal. Lauren mentioned a wine club to us which we haven't decided on yet since we live a fair distance away.

Sapphire Creek Winery is one of our favorite Cleveland-area wedding venues to photograph at. The space is beautifully designed with a modern, elevated aesthetic that photographs effortlessly, from the stunning ceremony spaces to the elegant reception areas filled with natural light. Every corner of the venue offers clean, timeless backdrops that work perfectly for both editorial-style portraits and candid storytelling. From a vendor perspective, the Sapphire Creek team is exceptional. Their organization, communication, and attention to detail help wedding days run smoothly, creating a relaxed atmosphere that allows couples to stay present and truly enjoy their celebration which always results in more natural, meaningful photographs. If you’re looking for a luxury wedding venue in Northeast Ohio that combines thoughtful design, seamless coordination, and an incredible guest experience, Sapphire Creek Winery is an outstanding choice. We dined here tonight for our first wedding anniversary. Lauren was our server and she was AMAZING. Not only is she super personable, but she recommended great wine pairings to the meals we ordered, showing her knowledge of the menu and wine that’s offered. We started with arancini and I ordered the filet mignon and my husband, the scallops with some macaroni and cheese to share. Everything was cooked exactly to our liking. Lauren surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary and even went to the lengths of being our personal photographer with the beautiful sunset. She really went above and beyond for us! We definitely plan to make this a yearly tradition for our anniversary because of our experience tonight.

Wedding review but Sapphire Creek is a must visit for dining if you are ever in the Chagrin Falls area! My husband and I could not have envisioned a more perfect wedding day and the overall experience than what we ended up having at Sapphire Creek. Obviously, the wine, food, property and ambiance is already top tier and speaks for itself, but the ENTIRE team Sapphire Creek has makes the day what it is- complete perfection. From the very start, Lexie Limer, Sapphire’s coordinator, was informative, flexible, engaging and just so lovely to work with. No question was a stupid question and no ask was too much for her. Every request was met with a detailed and thorough answer and made planning our special day a lot less hectic than most couples get to experience. Every single detail and step from securing the wedding date to the end of picking up your decor after your wedding is meticulously thought through and made easiest on you. Although we have had many dinners at Sapphire, they still go out of their way to put together a memorable wedding tasting and a beautiful rehearsal walkthrough before your big day. Not to mention, we utilized pretty much all of their approved vendors which were all absolutely incredible!!! Although we worked most closely with Lexie… the head chef and sous chefs, waiters (shout out to our girl MJ), bartenders, valet and security were real and genuine people, excited to be a part of our big day and performed the absolute BEST service to us and all our guests. Overall, every single cent we spent to have our wedding at Sapphire was 100% deserving and well spent. I am a type A kind of person when it comes to planning and hosting and there is not ONE single thing I would’ve changed. If you or anyone you know is even slightly considering getting married in NE Ohio, you need to take a visit to Sapphire Creek, but be prepared….
