Marengo Luxury Spa: Cleveland Spa Guide

Absolutely the best mani/pedi experience at a spa I have ever had. Greeting staff was pleasant and warm. They fit me in their busy schedule as a walk in. The waiting room is so relaxing, and every member of the team greeted me as they passed by. Angel did my pedicure and I adored her attention to detail and cleanliness. My feet feel fabulous. She was patient with the questions I asked. Danielle did my manicure and it was just as great as my pedi. She kept checking in to make sure my nail shape was exactly what I wanted. These ladies are experts at their craft and conversations with them felt like catching up with old girlfriends. The pricing was insanely reasonable as I expected to pay more. Thank you Marengo! I will be sure to be back.

I had a facial at Marengo Spa that resulted in a severe reaction, and the way it was handled afterward was incredibly disappointing. Within 24 hours of the facial, my face and upper neck became significantly swollen. Five days later, the swelling and skin damage are still present. I have been unable to work and am now facing potential medical expenses I cannot afford. When I contacted the spa for guidance or support, I was told that “everyone is different” and that I must be allergic. No concern, no follow-up, no refund, and no offer to help in any way — despite this being a paid, professional service at a supposedly high-end spa. I had to personally track down the product companies myself to determine what was used on my face. Marengo Spa took no responsibility and showed no care for the outcome of their service. Reactions can happen — how a business responds is what matters. Unfortunately, Marengo Spa showed zero accountability or compassion. I would strongly caution anyone considering a facial here.

Came here with my bridesmaids and some of us had a lovely time, but not all of us were satisfied. My MOH and I got massages, which we loved. However, my bridesmaids who got manicures were disappointed. They would not even serve one of them because she had acrylic nails and they couldn't remove them. I wish they had informed us of that beforehand. And my two girls who just wanted simple French tip manicures were disappointed with their service. If you are going to come here, I recommend a massage, facial, or maybe a pedicure. The manicures aren't worth it.

I had a wonderful nail tech who not only patiently waited for me to decide color and design, but was great company through the entire process. Not to mention the quality of work was great. Nails have been relatively chip free after almost a month of wear. Highly recommend!

I've visited Marengo 5x since 2013, with the most recent being a girls spa package April 2022. I will NEVER return. As a beauty service provider myself, I am truly disappointed to write a negative review but the owner/manager has to improve the negative atmosphere caused by employees that dislike their jobs/could careless about the services they are performing and the expired product (gel polishes) and old, itchy, stained robes given to those who book the spa package. •The gel manicure my sister recieved peeled off a few nails in a matter of 5 days - she works part time, remotely. Nothing in her life warrants wear and tear such as that. •The gel pedicure I recieved - just look at the polish job in the pics.🥴 •My massage therapist said her table didnt have a heating pad, so I was cold. She didn't know how to use the headrest, when she asked if I wanted it adjusted she tried to move the angle a bit and she dropped it on the floor. She put it back on with such an incline saying she could go get someone for help, but I was already undressed on the table that made me uncomfortable. So after the massage I actually had pain in my neck for 3 days due to her inability to work it properly. She only spent 37minutes on me when the spa package indicates 50min...a few of those minutes was her adjusting the stupid table. I can almost swear she checked her phone twice during my appointment, there were multiple times I felt only one hand on me and could of sworn I heard her phone unlock code. Just not a pleasant feeling to be face down, naked with someone not respecting the vulnerable position you're in or the fact that you may only treat urself to something such as this every other year. There was just no care given. •Best part of our visit - mom & sister received a massage from Kimberly, she was incredible to both of them. ✨️ Truly just below average place that somehow affords to be in the beautiful location it's in - they haven't upgraded their offerings or their products. Also one of the nail techs mentioned being limited creatively due to the manager not allowing designs..just a weird place.
