Little Met Golf Course: Cleveland Golf Course Guide

Let me start with the positives… the greens are challenging and VERY well kept. Better greens than Bunker Hill (which are often covered in goose 💩). Their logo ball is the absolute cutest as I collect from every course I play. I like supporting the Metroparks. I love the location of the course with respect to food and other things. The starter was very rigid but I appreciate the effort to keep things running on time. For the challenges … I love young people playing the game. It’s wonderful. However, this course is cheap and caters to kids that don’t even dress enough to respect the etiquette of the game. No GPS on the carts, which is not a huge deal if you have a range finder. Our cart’s brakes barely worked. No pretty water obstacles. The putting green doesn’t have holes, which I hate 😶 The bathrooms are barely usable because of how gross they are. The picnic tables are so beat up you’ll get splinters. This is NOT a place for an outing if you want basic amenities. I’d rather the course charge more to do some upgrades and upkeep.

A nice 9 hole course within the metro park system. Hole 3 is a par 5 and longest on the course. The greens are regularly well kept. Getting into the rough on some of the holes is a lot of trouble as it is really thick. You are playing along side the Rocky River on 6 and 7. Overall simple course but you can easily get a tee time anytime of year so long as you book a couple days in advance. Typically walk the course as it is very flat.

Short 9-hole course, which has a consecutive trio of near identical par-3 holes. It's quaint and easy to play. There are some good deals for greens fee too. I would recommend to golfers in the area looking for an easy and quick round. Some of the greens are fairly challenging though. Almost no hazards too, which is a major plus for beginners.

Nice little metro park course. Reasonably well-kept. Varied hole lengths and great For a beginner. However, reading past reviews it’s clear there some issue with course pace management. We were ready 10 minutes prior to our tee time yet had to wait 10 minutes past our time to tee off. Which was fine. We had to wait at almost every hole to hit, which was also fine. We were then scolded by a ranger to play faster (are we supposed to hit with other golfers on the fairway???). Which was not fine. Not my problem to fix if players before us on the course backed us up ten minutes.

Solid place to go with some ability to walk on with nothing booked. Well maintained for a public course, can complete in roughly 2.5 hours. Will go more often!
