Literary Tavern: Cleveland Bar Guide

We had a fantastic experience at Literary Tavern! We sat outside on the patio, which had a great ambiance. It was perfect for a relaxing evening. We started with the Alligator Lounge & Princess Anjo cocktails which were both were creative and delicious. For appetizers, we shared the fried calamari and Caprese skewers, and they were absolutely spot on. Then we split the Nashville half chicken, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also tried the milk punch shots…definitely a new experience, and a fun one! Highly recommend for great food, drinks, and a cozy atmosphere.

I came here for my 21st birthday lunch and overall had a great time! We came for brunch, and the broccolini was absolutely delicious. Katie, the bartender, was amazing - super friendly and made our drinks perfectly. The atmosphere was really nice and enjoyable. The customer service overall was great -everyone was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of. Great vibes, great food, and amazing service. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable dining experience!

Terrible food, huge disappointment, corn fritters were like frozen hockey pucks...tastless, no-corn, horrible. The tuna on fried chips was OK, just ok. Mussels had no garlic. Drinks were below average, very sweet and over priced...handcrafted they said, aren't they all handcrafted? These were quite amature.

Absolutely amazing 😭. I was the only one there so the service was good, got a smash burger and truffle fries, and the drink I got was amazing too (it’s called the Princesa something). Literally zero complaints! Good music/cute inside too.

My cocktail was excellent, but my food was so-so. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken, which had no heat at all. It was a large portion, which I appreciated for the price, but could have used some seasoning. Service was fantastic and friendly. Everything came out very quickly and was definitrly fresh.
