Kalahari Resorts Outdoor Waterpark - Sandusky, OH: Cleveland Water Park Guide

We had an amazing time at Kalahari Water Park! The staff was super helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our hotel room was clean and well-organized when we arrived, and we received fresh towels every day with no issues. The only minor downside was that our room wasn’t cleaned daily, which we found a bit surprising given that we’ve stayed at more affordable places where that was standard. Still, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. The water park itself was an absolute blast! Everything was well-maintained and the attractions were tons of fun. If your kids are over 48 inches tall, they’ll be able to ride most of the attractions. Honestly, one day wasn’t enough to enjoy everything — we’ll definitely plan for a longer stay next time!

Update! They are now making families with any bags entering the indoor water park wait in long lines that go all the way back to the arcade to search your items. They are removing water, snacks, candy...anything consumable and throwing it away if customers do not return it to their rooms. They are forcing families to purchase all beverages and food...even snacks in the park only. So if you have kids...inwould not recommended coming here any longer as it will cost alot to feel your kids and hydrate them in the park. Great Wolf lodge does not do this so I am now taking my kids their instead. You should see it...they rummage bags, remove under garments out to check for any food or drinks. Very disappointed in this decision.

Had a great time. I've been to Kalahari before, but never to the outdoor park, as I have visited primarily during the winter months. The outdoor slides are awesome

As always the water slides are the best, cane on a week day so wait lines were not long, room was clean, now ro the bad, staff very rude and very unprofessional, not all there were a few who were very pleasant, but for every pleasant there is a very obnoxious one, came for daughter bday, someone from my family in another room caught security listening at the door after she walked out but turnt around because she forgot something, next day my wife coming up from family's room caught security again listening at the door, called front desk I can call someone from security to talk to you, but my wife already talk to them when she was caught them, we'll I work front desk there's nothing I can do, how about offering for a manger to come or if they are not in taking a message for management to get back to me that did not come to mind until I said something, now the water park i love, but needs to tighten up on cleanliness and sanitation, everytime I come here there is something floating in the water in multiple areas all the time, there was tore up tissue and food basket in the wave pool.

Visited for the first time in years, and I was impressed by how well Kalahari has been maintained. Good variety of slides, several hot tubs, and of course the wave action pool and lazy river!
