Kalahari Resorts Indoor Waterpark - Sandusky, OH: Cleveland Water Park Guide

Our initial visit was truly delightful. My daughter and her friend thoroughly enjoyed themselves! It was New Year's Eve, and they provided an exceptional dinner, served buffet style. There was a wide array of food to select from, and the entire presentation was simply exquisite. A considerable amount of effort was clearly dedicated to preparing and beautifully arranging all the dishes. Following dinner, a glow party was organized, complete with items such as necklaces, glow sticks, fun glasses, party hats, ect for all the children. Everyone had a wonderful time and danced their way into 2026!

Always a great time. Rooms are very nice, unfortunate there's no sort of discount/ coupons. I try to bring the family one every other year. This time couldn't have the jetted tub experience as the jets looked grimey and I didn't have a brush to clean them (although I shouldn't have to) I reported this after check in, they indicated they made note. The resort fees are quite expensive. This trip all attractions were open the entire 3 day stay. The red and purple slide (Zimbabwe I believe) caused scratches on our backs and other attendees had warned us while we were in line... after going...I guess that's why they're was no line. Reported this also. I love that they have almost everything you could ever need inside. Next trip I think I'm going to try to stay somewhere else and simply travel to the indoor Waterpark, to save, especially since this time I didn't get to use all amenities as I normally would and there was no offer/ attempt to make it right. It quite a shame we dint have anything close to this locally. I wonder how the city/ county benefits from the revenue

So much fun!! Totally worth staying here! I just wish things stayed open later (restaurants etc.) We were here for a billiards tournament and made a vacation out of it amd brought kids. Had a blast! Indoor Waterpark was incredible, food was fantastic. So much to explore and have fun with. Room was amazing, we basically had a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen.

If you read the other reviews, they are correct. You will be hit with fees upon fees, charges $200 to put on your wristbands -no choice- and price gouged for everything. I was charged a $20 fee for two $10 tickets I could have bought at the resort without any fee. You will encounter hoarders of unsupervised kids that will disrupt your sleep, run into you in the halls or water park, cut in line, etc. it's really bad. My room was very nice, very clean but not maintained well. Things did not work properly. You can basically assume you are paying for an extra night in fees, a large pizza cost $68 with tip, they put items on your counter that I would take pictures of before and after so you aren't charged. And several rides in the park are closed. Some staff are excellent, some are the opposite of that. The concierge desk were great, my waiter at the burger restaurant was outstanding, but the rest were not. I am a 20 year guest at this place, and probably will not return. The nonsense I encountered with cutting, running into my kids, etc was enough to keep me away, without being overcharged for things.
