I just spent six straight days attending events at Imposters and I couldn’t be happier and more joyful about the experience. The shows were all joyful, funny, delightfully well performed and the people were so kind in all the improv opportunities I got with no previous experience. The Comedy Court performance using a couple’s story of how each thinks the other is hotter was hysterically heart-warming. It was one of the funniest live performances of anything I’ve ever seen. What a gem this place is. Thank you, Michael!
3 months agoSo great!! We laughed and laughed. They did 2 Holiday theme improv skits and did some carroling in between. So good! They have drinks and popcorn. All the staff was great! We will definitely go back.
3 months agoAwesome place, awesome people, fun times! Drop in for a free improv jam, join a class, or see a show. No matter what you do, you won't be disappointed :) *Personal favorite of mine is the improvised musicals. Sooo much talent!
2 months agoImposters is a a great theater with well rounded instructors. A theater that teaches you to listen to your scene partner and be creative. It’s a community of very talented comedians that offers a competitiveness you’ll see at places like IO, Second City, UCB, etc. I’ve auditioned for teams and haven’t made them but those experiences were GREAT for learning and growing as an improviser! It also shows to go the kind of talent there is in Cleveland. I’ll alway support a theater that’s supported my growth!
a year agoCan't believe I didn't say anything when I first gave my rating! I think because I was still kinda new, but I just knew I liked the place lol. This place is truly a hidden gem in Cleveland! Shows every weekend; free jam sessions that allow you to try improv games with others in a safe, friendly environment; classes, and even opportunities to perform! I can feel that I've improved over the past year from taking the classes, and it's a great feeling 😊 But, the best part is the genuinely warm and welcoming environment. I always say it's better than church (church has too many phonies and gossipers) lol
