I Hate Cowboys: Cleveland Cocktail Bar Guide

One of the best bourbon bars you can find with an amazing view of Old River and Lake Erie. The sun ☀️ sets right off the back of the bar. Bartenders and Barbacks are super friendly. Favorite bartender is Eli and bar back Noah. Ask Eli for Burning Daylight - best drink in Cleveland. If you’re lucky you catch live acoustic acts like Emma Nichols or Dave Hinrich.

I really liked my experience at I Hate Cowboys. I’m not a #1 country fan but I thought it was really wholesome that there was a live country singer when we went and he was pretty good. I thought the crowd here was very enthusiastic and fun too. I liked the atmosphere a lot. I also did really enjoy the drinks! They were well made.

A nifty sit down bar/restaurant all leather and wood.. I love the leather bar.. They sell food, cigars, wine, cocktails, and mocktails. They have a good selection of bourbons and Mezcal..yes they have a tequila list as well I just don’t think it’s that special to include it’s basic. I ordered a shotgun Collins and a cava drinks were delicious.. I also ordered a batch of the truffle fries without the truffle oil with the pesto aioli and spicy ketchup.. the spicy ketchup is not spicy and tastes like regular ketchup.. the pesto aioli is delicious.. The fries are crisp and delicious I enjoy what I ordered very much.. My bartender was Tori.. she was very helpful patient and knowledgeable. I will be back

One of the best new places in the city! Has an amazing bourbon list that no one else has along with a great simple food selection! Highly recommend the fried chicken along with “burning daylight” cocktail!

Had a really nice time here. Great bourbon selection. Probably the best in town. Love the leather and wood ambiance. Super classy. The bartender, Eli, served me an old fashioned which was excellent. It can be hard to get an old fashioned that's not too sweet or too boozy. He nailed it. There's also often live music in there. When I was in there, Emma was performing. You've got to find out when she's there and listen to her perform!
