Huntington Beach: Cleveland Beach Guide

Huntington Beach near Cleveland surprised me in the best way. I’m not a big beach person, but this spot is easy to enjoy. The kids’ play area—with a small zipline—kept our kid busy, and the restrooms were decent; when the crowd swells they can get a bit untidy, but the management clearly works to stay on top of it. The lakeside setting is beautiful, and we caught an incredible sunset that made the whole visit feel special. My tip: visit on a sunny day to really appreciate the shoreline and views.

Great place. Only drawback are the lifeguards and their ludicrous safety breaks 15min out of every hour, which make no sense. All the ocean beaches in the world and never met a safety break, but the still waters of Lake Erie need a precaution not found anywhere else.

We came for lake glass (aka beach glass). Found some. Enjoyed the shore immensely. Clean. Good bathrooms. Picnic tables. Felt Safe. 😊

This is a great public beach. It is also a large beach that is very well maintained.

Such a family friendly beach. The bar on the beach has great fresh food. Sunset is stunning! I bumped into great people and had a day full of peace and laughters.
