Galleria at Erieview: Cleveland Shopping Mall Guide

I remember coming here with my mom on Saturdays in the late 80s and it was full of great stores and wonderful. Dollar bank is the only original place. It's still a beautiful building but makes me sad. Me and my daughter had lunch at the Winking lizard and it was great!

I went to get some early Christmas shopping squared away, and I had a great time at the bookstore loading up on all the classics: Chicken Little, Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking”, the like. The food offerings did not dissatisfy my taste buds, as when I visited the shopping center, none were open for sampling. The Christmas tree beamed a festive spirit right into my soul and I left smiling.

Love this place. I felt like I’d come home to the mothership of rock & roll. Can’t wait to come back again!

its empty with the exception of one restaurant on first floor and a ymca on other end. thats not the point of this review. the point of this review is that this is a remarkable example of architectural brilliance. it was a good visit merely to admire the building.

Aesthetically this place is pure art to gawk at. Shopping not so much. Unless you are looking for some Hungarian Culture this isn't quite the place for you. The food court is alright, but not a whole lot of variety. The Chick Fill-a was closed on a Friday and Quiznos was closed up for good. Despite the ridiculous parking prices, I would still recommend checking out this place. It's not often that you see a mall relic like this. Kinda shocking how the surrounding area didn't keep this amusing site bustling.
