Absolutely beautiful place. The nature center is really cool. Would highly recommend for younger children. Has a cute little gift shop inside. The hike is beautiful especially if you love birds.
6 months agoBeautiful and easily travelled paths. Brought my 74 year old mother (with bad knees) and she was able to enjoy the walk with us. Beautiful scenery and tons of flora and fauna to enjoy. Restrooms are good and come in handy. Definitely recommend for a lovely hike through nature for people with many levels of physical ability.
9 months agoSuch a lovely little park that takes you from normal city life straight into a relaxing, calming nature realm that’s great for the entire family. There’s multiple trails, a rock and herb garden, and the nature center is really cool! For kids and adults both!
4 months agoAmazing place to take the family. And for free! We saw over 8 different nature critters/animals in our first visit. Some are shown in pictures. Beautiful botanicals to teach children about as well. Huge trail looped in with smaller ones in the case of wanting to cut it short. Highly recommend.
9 months agoSuch a beautiful place to be any time of year, but it's definitely better when everything is bloomed. The wildlife is amazing, and the gardens are even better. I also found the greenhouse made of plastic bottles such a great way to grow things with use of garbage that would take way too long to disintegrate in a landfill. Just be careful if it's a hot day and bring plenty of water for the trails, because you can easily get dehydrated with the amount of sun exposure the area gets
