What a great place... Auto aviation and motorcycles to view...Hay-McKinney Mansion to one side of this large museum is a must-see.... All this and more is located inside the Cleveland History Center..... Well worth of us....
a week agoHoused inside the History Museum it was also a great time. The exhibition upstairs was on the history of the Ford Mustang and the history of airplane racing featuring a P-51 Mustang. Downstairs there was a wonderful history of various vehicles spanning multiple decades, a collection of stainless steel cars and motorcycles. My son loved the DeLorean of course! The volunteer that was downstairs had a binder of the various vehicles and it was well worth stopping to ask some questions. We also spoke about future plans and events they have coming up and we plan on visiting again! They had a wonderful kids area and it was filled with lots of fun things for the kids to do, even my 12yr old found it fun. The carousel inside is also free to ride and they have rides every 15 minutes. Admission to the Cleveland History museum includes the Crawford Auto. With a museums for all pass we was extremely affordable.
11 months agoA small but impressive collection of mostly very early old cars, it was like walking through a set of my old match box cars but these are real! The Euclid Beach carousel is also there and is fun to watch and ride. The Crawford museum is inside of the Cleveland History Museum so there are other things to see there.
a year agoBuckle up and enjoy! Cars are beautiful and shiny! Learned a lot from people there AND got to see inside of a Goodyear blimp!!! Very very cool!!!!
12 months agoVery nice. It's a little pricey, but a Western Reserve Historical Society family membership can be nearly justified in one visit for a family with four children. Plus, you get reciprocal admission to other places & $5 parking.
