The Cleveland Public Auditorium is absolutely gorgeous. The aesthetics, especially the interior, are stunning and really set the tone for an elegant evening. We attended The Nutcracker, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, what took away from the experience was how cold it was inside. There was a constant draft and it felt like there was little to no heat. I had to keep my winter coat on for the entire performance, which made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the show. A warmer, more comfortable temperature would make a big difference.

Attended the Nutcracker on December 15th. Music Hall has fallen from grace in my opinion. Parked at Willard garage with no visible signage as how to enter Music Hall. Many entrance doors were locked. Met at door by a rude attendant blocking our entrance and demanding tickets. How about letting people that just walked from Willard garage with temperatures in the teens to get their gloves off and glasses on and phones out before asking for tickets multiple times. No lobby, just a very cold entrance hallway. No coat check. No concession area, just a table with Dorito's and M-N-M's. Not very classy considering we were attending the ballet. Only one Men's room and one Women's room. Men's room only accessible by going down a flight of steps. Not good for seniors! At the intermission the VERY dated paper towel dispenser (only one for entire restroom) was empty. No air dryer. Roll of garbage can bags in one sink. Another sink plugged and water teasing the brim with overflowing. They started the show after intermission without dimming the lights to notify people to take their seats so people were filing in once the show had started disturbing the view of those already seated. Snack table was located opposite photo op with a ballerina area, causing a sever pedestrian traffic jam with intersecting traffic trying to negotiate between the frigid hallway, packed restrooms and entrance door to venue. I could go on about outdated step tread to rise ratio and no hand rails. First world problems, of course but it has the potential to be so much better like Severance Center. I'll end with, if you are attending a show in Cleveland go to Playhouse Square unless Music Hall gets a much-needed, overdue, multi-million dollar Major Renovation!

It was beautiful. Very interesting venue for basketball games. I don't know if I agree with the placement of the court I feel like it could have been better placed but overall a great experience, beautiful venue, and I will definitely go back. I am curious to see it used for things other than basketball.

It was so beautiful inside. The architecture was intense. Everywhere you looked, it was beautiful. My grandson loved it. He told all his friends about it at school.
