Amazing zoo! I think the keepers take care of the animals very well, sadly the sloth bear died earlier last year. The only reason I put 4 stars is because its very large and the wolf area is far away and there isn't a tram to take, I feel like they should make one but thats just my opinion.

Wild Winter Lights, at Cleveland Zoo. The lights start at the entrance, and the walk wraps around the entire parks main wall way. They had a train display in the cafe area where they have food for the Asian festivales. They had a Rudolf character taking photos. The lights show towards the middle was amazing. Perfect for kids, adults all ages. They had Santa, and 4 d showing of Rudolf. The Leopard and Tigers and Seals were all out for us to see. Well worth $29 each for non members. Talks about an hour to and hour and a half to walk through. Wear your walking shoes.

Went on a Wednesday, in July. The park is beautifully kept and enjoyable to walkthrough. There were plenty of places for rest stops and available clean restrooms. Love the different restroom themes throughout the zoo. There wasn't a whole lot of food options for me particularly, but was happy to find some fresh fruit at one of the food vendors. Many of the small concession stands were closed. But there were a few open and a food court with fast food options on the lower level. Saw elephants, giraffes, bears, wolves, flamingos, kangaroos and goats. I've visited this zoo multiple times and the Australian area and house became one of my favorite areas, and the Australian house there has usually been open for the public. This day it was not. On Wedsday. I think this was later in the afternoon. The doors were locked and had a sign on them that alerted to limited access. Was not clear on whether it was closed temporarily or permanently. I also don't remember any signs of the house being closed at the ticket window, at entrance to the park, on any of the zoo's maps, or at the gates upon entering the area of the house. Looking into the window I saw people inside. While on the house's porch, who I assumed was an employee, was entering into the house and so I mentioned that it used to be open to the public and she answered to me that it used to be, but now was used for employees. 😳 I asked on maps for the zoo if it was still open to the public as well as on the internet and the answer was yes. So, what is it? Is the Australian house closed or is it open to the public/visitors to the park? The Australian area itself was available and was enjoyed. Stayed awhile and enjoyed the area, the porch, the train ride, and seeing the kangaroos and goats. Visited the Wolf Lodge as well and glad to see that that's still there and open. And the lanterns for the Asian Lantern Festival throughout the park were beautiful. 😍

An unforgettable visit to Cleveland Zoo! I had the best zoo experience here. The adult ticket was $21.50 and honestly, it was totally worth it. There’s an incredible variety of animals, and many of them can be seen up close or even touched (we touched the goats and they were super adorable) which made the visit feel really special! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and every moment I spent in the zoo was enjoyable. It’s also great value for money. Since it wasn’t crowded, especially in the forested walking areas, it felt peaceful and relaxing. There were many chipmunks as well in the forest and everywhere! Most of the restaurants or stores were closed, I guess since it was weekday visit 🙁 But overall, it was such a great experience! I’ll definitely be coming back! 🤩

The zoo is the best. So much to do and see, you could easily spend the whole day and not see everything. Beautiful walking trails and just great to be out in nature. Staff is always super to be around and wonderful with the kids. Cant wait until the new primate enclosure is finished.
