Cathedral of St John the Evangelist: Cleveland Church Guide

Happy Palm Sunday and holy week to you all. Free parking on Sunday and conveniently located downtown. The priest gave a stirring sermon regarding the sacrifice of Christ and the suffering we all must endure to live a Christian life. I was moved by the beautiful stain glass windows depicting religious scenes. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Very beautiful Church. Stopped in and sat for about an hour on a Wednesday afternoon. What I thought was interesting is that they have a setup for the hearing impaired, They have a device you can ask for so you can hear the priest talking better during a mass, or you can download an app and you can listen to the mass with your earbuds in. I wish they had this set the church I go to because I cannot hear the priest half the time. A beautiful place to sit and reflect.

1st time at the Cathedral (10/2020 move to Ohio). Assisted by wonderful, Fr. Joselito to park, enter (with Mom using O2 & walker), and attended confession and Memorial Mass for Pope Benedict. Fr. Sean was a great homilist, attentive to our need for communion to be brought to the pew. Such a lovely Mass, gorgeous Christmas decorations, amazingly beautiful architecture and Cathedral.

This Cathedral in downtown Cleveland is amazing. It was truly a stunning church to see.

Beautiful church right in the middle of downtown Cleveland! Just stumbled upon it while walking. Was nearly empty as we went inside and so were able to explore it without bother or crowds.
