Wow what a cool place to take kids to! Great indoor and outdoor activities especially the bike course with ramps and everything! Would be great for for a regular old solo hike too with nice trails and great scenery. Put this on your list!
6 months agoThis nature center is fantastic. There is a pretend fishing boat with a place for kids to cook, fish, and clean, which is a huge hit. They have a great collection of live and taxidermy animals to learn about, all of which are native to Northeast Ohio. A nature worker even showed us an eastern box turtle! There is also a cozy space with books and puzzles, and lots of other hands-on activities for families. We especially loved the beautiful sunroom with big windows to just sit and admire nature. It truly has something for every level of nature explorer. Make sure you stop at the desk and learn about all the amazing things the nature center has to offer.

9 months agoA beautiful and peaceful gem amongst the city. Lots of recreational options and amenities like clean bathrooms, picnic pavilions and scattered tables, bike park, nature center and walking & biking trails. I always enjoy my time here.
a year agoGreat place to bring you children. Although this learning center is closed for now, still a great place walk and hike. Can access the Towpath from here. Also have a bike and hike there. Public restrooms available, inside and out. 2025. They're currently working on removing some of the train display down at the end of the canal. Not sure what else they're going to do but it is ongoing for now
