I've been visiting Joe and his family for 3 seasons now. Hands down these are some of the best apples and blueberries I've ever had. I have confidence that I'm truly picking organic fruit, and the atmosphere here is heavenly as well. Often, I come here alone for the peace and quiet, as I live in Cleveland and the hum of the city is far off. If you don't feel the energy of this place, then you are truly missing out. I met Joe during a turbulent time in my life, and during his family's first season owning this property. I always leave with my bags heavy, and my heart full. As I've watched them grow and expand their store, and begin offering different courses, it has been a joy to help contribute to their growth. Don't buy the awful tasteless apples from your grocery store. Support local, and help Blue Jay Orchard become a pillar of their community! The experience of being here will change you! Pay no mind to the 1-star raters. Many different varieties of apples are here, meaning they come in all sizes. Organics means you accept the bad with the good. There are other living things that love apples. Be discerning. Choose your fruits carefully instead of badmouthing a very hardworking family. They took over a run down farm, and breathed new life into it. If you weren't here when they started out 3 years ago, and witnessed what they've done, then you are in no position to judge.

We went apple picking here earlier in September since apple season is early this year. The employees there were very friendly and it's a cute place. There were barely any apples left and the ones we found were spotted, damaged, and unappetizing. I would not go back next year based on the condition of the apples.

Charming little country store and apple and blueberry orchard all organically grown with precision The exterior of the fruit has little nicks and spots dents , But WOW when you Bite into the Apples they are the Juiciest Crisp and flavorful with all different varieties to try . The Best apples i ever tasted . So healthy and beautiful to eat as is and also using a mix of the different varieties makes amazing apple sauce and of course pies . They also have fresh pressed organic cider and some other delicious healthy food items like grass fed meat and dairy to purchase . A really lovely experience
