“I want to start by saying the restaurant itself was nice and clean, so I had high hopes walking in. Unfortunately, the service and food did not match the atmosphere. Our server came to the table, set the water down without a greeting, and walked away immediately. When he finally returned, he simply asked if we were ready to order. As someone who works in the service industry myself, I was disappointed. I always greet my tables warmly and introduce myself, but I actually had to ask him what his name was. When our food arrived—extremely quickly—I realized why. The seafood boil was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. I ordered Cajun and garlic butter mixed with a medium spice level, and it still had absolutely no flavor. Completely bland… just eww. I work at a seafood restaurant (Juicy Seafood on Harvard Park), and our food has 100 times more flavor. You can actually taste the seasoning there. I wanted to try something different today, but I left extremely disappointed.”
