“As soon as my [then] fiancé and I toured GLBC event space, we knew immediately that we wanted to book this space. This was because the space had a historical and industrial look that we really liked as well as being a brewery that is one of our favorites. When meeting with Shannon at the initial tour, she provided us with a handout that informed us of all of the information that we would need - wedding and/or reception layout, food options, alcohol options, room layout, and additional services (decoration package, champagne toast, etc.). The information package was extremely detailed and informed us of what we would potentially need for the venue space as well as recommendations of other vendors that we could reach out to. All of the above criteria convinced us that this was the event space we needed for our wedding. Shannon and her team have worked together for a few years and it shows. They are extremely professional, dedicated to the staff and guests, and ready to assist as they are able. For example, we had made artificial flower arrangements for the tables and we were concerned family would have to assist with the placement of this on the day of the wedding due to the schedule. Due to the pre-made arrangements and detailed list of where they would go, Shannon and her team assisted in the organization of the decorations. This goes above and beyond what an event coordinator of an event space does and we are very appreciative that Shannon was willing to help us with this on the day of our wedding. During the event, the staff also went above and beyond for us. The staff also assisted at the end of the night (with our families) to clear the tables of decorations as well as grabbing additional desserts for us to enjoy at a later time. If you want a staff that provides great communication, excellent preparation, ease of transition, and helpful actions, GLBC is the place to book! We cannot praise the staff enough for everything they did for us. Please consider Shannon and her team if you want to have an amazing wedding!”
