“Room is spacious but it is very DIRTY. There were animal hair clumps on the living room chair. There was a bag of empty chips under the beds along with a dirty paper plate and maxi pad wrapper. A light bulb was burnt out in the bathroom. The room phone did not work. The window screens were all ripped (it was winter so that didn't matter). The hotel is not priced adequately at all. I can't not believe I paid well over $500 for two nights here. No ice buckets or an ice maker in the freezer. Breakfast was your basic help yourself items. The staff is nice and the room is spacious. Those are really the only two decent qualities I can list. I would not recommend this hotel. Marriott needs to send in some corporate housekeeping managers to inspect this place. It's that bad. (Check under the beds. The trash is probably still there.)”

“Overall we had a good stay and would be back. The location is perfect if you want to do Cedar Point and activities all around the Cleveland area. The best part about it was the prices. We did a 2 bedroom suite for 3 nights and paid $706. Not finding that type of pricing much these days. It was the perfect size for our stay. Also, didn’t interact much with staff, but everyone was nice. The breakfast attendant working Sunday, October 5th was amazing! So, you get what you pay for. This feels like an og Townplace Suite, which is fine for the price. So, expect things to be weathered. Only issue with the room was it wasn’t clean. Luckily the linens were clean, but floors were gross. There was dirt in all the crevices and one of the bedrooms had potato chips on the floor. Also, there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling and dead bugs in the light fixtures. Lastly, breakfast was good for the most part. Always well stocked with a special packaged item in heat well, the Townplace Suite cracked egg patty, and different meats daily. There is also a wide variety of bread products, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, and yogurt. They had great packaged muffins too!! So, the breakfast area.. If you aren’t familiar with og Townplace Suites it’s more of a tiny grab and go. There are maybe 5 2 top tables. This is fine if people care about others, which was the first two days. We got our food easily, we went to our room to eat. However, it takes one adult who doesn’t care about others with kids to ruin breakfast for everyone else. The last day here there was an adult with about 8 kids taking up the whole area to get food, which made it impossible. The kids wanted to use the one waffle maker, which is understandable. However, they were all in front of all the food eating their food waiting. The breakfast attendant came to the rescue and did what the adult refused to do. Asked the kids to move so others can get food. With this being said if you bring kids maybe think of others??? Maybe tell your kids to sit at a table if available, or bring the food up to the room like the place is designed.”

“This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. When we arrived the room was marginally clean at best, though it was very apparent that the room had not been vacuumed in some time. The utensils in the kitchen were dirty. We found a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door and a nail on the floor. The doors were filthy and the curtains were stained and torn. The window was broken, which we discovered at 4am when the wind kept blowing it open. Not ideal in 20 degree weather. My husband woke up with a dried benedryl liquid gel pill stuck to his leg. Neither of us use or brought benedryl, so that would indicate to me that the sheets had not been changed. As we were packing up we also found a used incillin pen under the bed, which did not belong to either of us. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Ever.”
