“Lori was very accommodating but the hotel itself needs a lot of work and definitely needs housekeeping supplies. Other than that the location is great! Very quiet and comfortable. Good price for a nights stay.”
“Staff was incompetent and took 45 minutes to check me in even though I was the only customer in the lobby. They were very confused about everything and were unprofessional. I ordered a king bed nonsmoking room and was given a double queen smoking room. The fire alarm was removed and the wires were hanging. The fridge and microwave were unplugged and placed in the center of the room. The room was filthy and the sink was clogged. You could see outside of the room through the door and the lock was not secure. Overall I felt very unsafe and grossed out by this hotel and decided to leave immediately. I was promised a refund which I have not received. I’ve called several times and still have not gotten my money back.”
“I would normally write this review in Booking but the hotel does not allow writing reviews through Booking (for a reason!). Overall I understand the value of the hotel is at low as it gets but that’s no excuse for the conditions of the facilities. The reception door was not working so I entered through the back to see a room fool of dirty mattresses and bed linens just piled up next to mountains of dust and filthy floors. The lady in the reception was incredibly nice so I’ll give them that. The room was in terrible conditions, it smelled like smoke and humidity. The bed linens, pillows and towels were so damp and stinky I could barely sleep. In addition the long term guests of the hotel were loud and constantly smoking in the facilities. I did not feel safe coming in and out of the room. I left one night earlier. The only positive point was the proximity to Cuyahoga Valley which was the reason of my trip. Overall a pretty terrible stay.”
