“If you like beds that are hard as a rock, you should sleep well here. If you need a softer bed, this is not the place for you. Unusually extra firm beds here. Otherwise the hotel is clean and decently equipped. The suites only have 1 TV at the beds. The nice couch and sitting area has no view of the TV. Breakfast area is pretty good.”
“Dirty. The carpets are so stained and filthy, you’ll want to keep your shoes on. We even requested to be moved because of the dirty floors. Our new room had been vacuumed this time, but the stains… disturbing. Perhaps the carpets haven’t been changed in 20 years and that would explain the bizarre stains. And then there’s the noise. Between midnight and 1AM, our neighbors had their kids running the halls and then banging around in their room. At 7AM, that’s when the real excitement began. Screaming and crying and the banging kicked into overdrive so we contacted the front desk. I thought this hotel was far enough away from Cleveland to avoid such issues, but no. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is due to do the kind staff. They are nice. Don’t be duped into the pictures of the kiddie pool and hot tub (the hot tub is taped off and out of order). My kids didn’t get much sleep and neither did we. This is not a 3-star hotel. Stay at the Hyatt Place in Crocker Park. I won’t stay at another Holiday Inn after this.”
“The hotel was clean, room was nice, breakfast seemed good as well. However we booked here to have a night away from home to let our grandchildren swim. When we checked in they said there was a terrible accident and the pool was closed. Didn’t sound right the pool looked fine, there were a lot of people staying this weekend it felt like they didn’t want to deal with it rather than something wrong. Very disappointing.”
