Days Inn by Wyndham Cleveland Lakewood: Cleveland Hotel Guide

“This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been in. The Cleveland motel would have n been a better choice. Sleeping in a shelter would have been a better choice!! First of all the first room I got was dirty. Dirty beds and a tub halfway filled with dirty water and debris. Second room had no towels or washcloths for the first full day of checking in. The hallways stink to high hell as well as the lobby with dirty mop bucket water just laying around. The hallways were covered with sticky spots all over the floor. Then on top of all that when they switched my room they gave another man a key card to my room and he walked in on me and my fiancé naked in bed. I would never in my life stay here or refer this crappy hotel to anybody. The customer service is horrible the people act like they hate the job. Worst hotel in the city and it’s in Lakewood. That’s the killer part. You would think Lakewood is decent. Think again!!!!”

“If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE - I left shortly after checking in. It's basically a seedy, gross rent by the hour motel posing as something way nicer (in fact I've seen nicer rent-by-the-hour motels). I was on a roadtrip and determined around 4p that day how far I was going to go before stopping for the night. I did a quick Google search and found this hotel at a reasonable price via Priceline (side note: Way too expensive for what it actually is) for a super no frills hotel to stop in for the night. My own fault for not digging deeper before booking. I pulled up to a shabby looking building and a parking lot full of trash everywhere. Inside doesn't look like any of the picture - It's dirty, dingy, gouges in the walls, things falling apart, and despite the no-smoking signs everywhere reeking of old cigarette and pot. The guy working the front desk didn't know how to do anything and photocopied my credit card because he couldn't work the computer. He gave me keys to my room, which didn't work the first time I tried the door. When I finally got into the room I found a room with stains on the bedding, a headboard falling off the wall, broken lamps, dust caked drapes, a red stain that looked like blood on the bathroom floor, a single hook for hanging clothes on (there was no bar in the closet), towels of questionable cleanliness (and the bath towel was little bigger than the hand towel), paint stained ripped carpet, dust piles in the corners, a broken toilet paper holder (so the TP just sat on the sink), and no trash can in the room. The only good thing I can say is that the mattress didn't appear to have bed bugs and the TV and dresser were surprisingly clean. I promptly moved my stuff back to my car, took pictures, called Priceline and inquired at the desk about cancelling my reservation and getting a refund. I was told I had to wait to speak to the night auditor at 11p. When I came back to the property after getting food the hallway smelled of fresh pot and cigarettes. The night auditor was in early and told me I had to email the property manager (at a gmail account) for a refund. Priceline attempted to call the property multiple times and received no response. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT STAY HERE. Unless you need a place for a skeezy rendevous, there are significantly better options elsewhere in Cleveland.”

“Worst place ever do not stay there. Went in had blood on bedsheets. Smelled like Marijuana all over the place. Had mouse crap everywhere along with garbage. Bathroom looked horrible black mold everywhere. Heating was terrible no heat in rooms. Sent to another one was half star better.”
