Nice. Its really has changed over the years. I do miss a lot of the vendor's and food trucks. It was definitely a more quiet...festival without all the stages of live music. The weather was perfect this year and it was relaxing.

Beautiful outdoor location, great mix of wineries from across the state and there's plenty of music and food available. Buy a VIP ticket - it's well worth it!

We always have a great time. This year was one of the nicest weekends for weather. Several new wineries were in attendance, so there were lots of new things to try. The Sassafras wine from Emerine Estates, and the red mead from Mulberry were stand out hits. The only downside is fewer wineries than in the past. The live music was MUCH better than in years past. There were multiple stages with more gentle amplification, so you never had to shout over a mega arena concert like before. The musicians themselves were also great.

Wow, so many wineries from near and far. I try the wineries farthest from home first. Then the new ones in the group close to home. Beautiful weather this year! Thanks for having information on spotted lantern fly new great danger to grapes and more.

This wine festival was a complete disappointment and disaster. Unfortunately, I stupidly purchased the VIP tickets for my wife's birthday at $75 each because it was supposed to offer hors d'oeuvres with the wine tasting. The additional $35 per person for the VIP tickets provided us with grocery store-bought stale bread rolls, some mac and cheese served in a cup the size of a quarter, some popcorn, and some cheese that was cut into cubes the size of an eraser head on the end of a pencil. No meat whatsoever and no real substantive food anywhere to be found. It was a total joke for the additional over inflated price. Quite frankly I was disgusted with the entire event in the first five minutes of walking into the VIP area. I don't mind paying extra money for VIP tickets, but when the additional $70 spent gets you nothing in return, it is hugely frustrating. I felt like we were totally scammed in purchasing the upgraded VIP tickets. The entire Ohio Vintage Wine Festival committee should be ashamed of themselves for the pitiful food that was served in the VIP area. Also, most of the wine we sampled at the event quite frankly sucked. Furthermore, why does every festival have to have window, roof, and gutter vendors scattered all over the festival grounds. If I want to buy new windows, I will go to the Home Show. This was a wine festival, not a Home Depot festival. How about some vendors that are actually associated with all things wine? Between two VIP tickets and tax, I spent $153 on a miserable experience. The weather was perfect and the grounds were fantastic, but the actual event was a flop. Will never return to the Ohio Vintage Wine Festival as long as I live. Show less More about me
