What Visitors Say
“People say this movie theater offers comfortable reclining seats, a bar, and food and drink delivery service. Other reviews mention the food can be expensive and the service can be slow.”
Two friends and I came here! We had an absolute amazing experience. It was a super clean environment. It wasn't packed on a Thursday night. Joss was our server. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu! I highly recommend the penne pasta, it was DELICIOUS. I saw comments on the reviews about things being "pricey/expensive" but things really aren't that bad. It's about $14+ to get a meal at McDonald's. My penne was $14! I enjoyed it without chicken or salmon. I highly recommend checking this place out.
2 months agoThis was my first time visiting. The place is clean, airy, and the decor looks great. I like the option of purchasing tickets before I arrived for the movie. It was easy to “check in” at the desk. The theater was nice and the seats were comfortable. I really like the intimacy of the theater; it’s not a typical theater seating with lots of seats. We had the option of scanning our food/drink order or the attendant was also available; she was very friendly. We decided to use the attendant because the WiFi was very, very slow. I ordered the chicken tenders as an appetizer and a cheeseburger with fries. I also ordered a lemonade. The tenders were cooked well and crispy; however, they were bland. The cheeseburger was really good. I asked for medium well and it was; the fries were bland and not hot. Overall, the food is expensive. I didn’t order any popcorn or candy. Again, I enjoyed the ambiance of the venue. I gave 3 stars because of the food and the high price for the food. I would go again; I would either eat before or after the show.
9 months agoAs someone that has recently moved to Ohio and is used to better modern theaters this one fits my expectations. The theater it self is 5/5. The prices are pricinggggg! lol almost $20 for tickets and everything else expensive. They deliver the food to your seat but this visit I had nachos and they were 2/10 which isn’t great since they were $15, they are very stingy with their servings! This is my favorite theater in Cleveland though especially compared to the older cinemas!
5 months agoBought 2 tickets online for a friend and I at $15 a piece.. somehow just booking online charges you an additional $5 booking fee? So therefore spent $18 a piece just for tickets alone. I’m assuming it would’ve been cheaper to just buy in person? Once we got there and walked inside, there was no signage or anything that informed you where to go to show an attendant your QR code. There is a bar to the left but no concession stand in sight. There were 2 attendants at a desk but after we showed them our QR codes they then informed us they are only the desk for purchasing in person. After we finally found the person who scans our codes, there was no additional direction to tell you which theater you were in. Also no signage to tell you how to purchase concessions. When you get into the theater there is a small QR code sticker on the table attached to the recliner, if you were an older individual how would you have any idea how that works? No prices listed on the website which is frustrating. When an attendant finally came around she kindly handed us a menu but if you just wanted your classic popcorn/candy/Icee they were in a small corner of the menu. Spent $31 on extremely salty popcorn and 2 drinks. Then when the waitress/attendant brings your food the movie has already started and they drop it off and do not offer any napkins or ask if you need anything additional. Doesn’t seem like a very functional setup for service when most people want their food and drink BEFORE the movie starts. All in all spent $67 for 2 people to go to a movie with drinks and a popcorn. Recliners were comfortable and the server was kind, other than that I’d rather go to a cheaper theater where I can go to your old fashioned concession stand and get my popcorn and drinks and not have to be confused by the whole modern experience.
2 months agoI'm an avid moviegoer who's been coming here for years. My family has probably spent over $1000 at this theater. I've always been willing to excuse the slow concession service because the viewing experience is one of the best in northeast Ohio. In terms of picture and audio quality, this theater, Cinemark Valley View, and Phoenix North Olmsted are the best in greater Cleveland metro. HOWEVER, on my most recent trip, the bartender outright ignored me. I walked up to the cash register as she was serving two other patrons. I silently waited 5-10 minutes in front of her. I was the only other person at the bar. While she was cashing them out, a group of three sat down to the bar. Without acknowledging me at all, she started waiting on the new group. The food and drink service at Silverspot has always been issue. Slow wait times, sometimes even outright forgetting purchased items. This experience, though, was a new low in customer service. I will now be driving the additional 10 miles to Cinemark Valley View whenever I went a true premium experience.
