Making Memories at Wiegand Lake Park: Cleveland Event Venue Guide

We got married at Wiegand Lake Park this fall, and it was such a beautiful day and experience! Carrie, Ken, and the whole Wiegand Lake Park crew are PHENOMENAL!! Not only on the day of, but throughout the whole planning process they were extremely helpful, communicative, and some of the kindest and caring people you will ever meet. They really want you to have the best day you could possibly have, and put so much work into making that happen. From the reception layout, to making sure there aren't too many leaves on the ground, they think of every little detail. I don't think I could fully capture in one review how truly amazing Carrie, Ken, and the staff are, they really made us feel like family. Aside from the incredible team, the park is gorgeous! We got married on the wedding deck that overlooks the lake and had our reception in the "Enchanted Forest". It was a picture perfect setting, and many of our guests commented on how amazing the venue and staff were. Wiegand Lake Park forever holds a special place in our hearts. I would highly recommend having your special day here!!

Every corner to explore is beautiful and relaxing. If you can host an event here for a full day, do it. We attended our family reunion here and are looking forward to coming back. The kids had fun all day and the adults relaxed all day. This place is impeccably clean and the landscaping is well manicured but still beautifully natural. The owners are hands on and gracious and super helpful. The food was good and there was plenty available. We would have swam, but personally didn’t because we had to go somewhere after. I wish I could just come here and sit and read or sketch but it is a private park so I am not really sure how that works. lol If I came here as a child, I feel like it would be a favorite place to go. I am from South Jersey and this pro reminds me of Cape May County Park and Zoo. Not the zoo part of course, but everything else. It just feels like a nice place to be. Kudos to the owners. I can see you have put a lot of work into this place and I am glad we got to enjoy it.

Our company recently held a family day event here. Carrie and the team were amazing! Carrie helped us with coordinating outside vendors, making sure everything was set up, and even took pictures of our event for us to make sure photos were captured of all the events we had. I would highly recommend working with Carrie and the team at Weigands!

We got married at Wiegand Lake Park this past October and had the best experience imaginable (minus the rain...thanks Ohio)! Carrie and Ken were the best to work with and treated us like family. Their attention to detail and focus on tailoring the experience to our preferences was fantastic. Even when we decided to be crazy and have the ceremony out in the rain, they were still accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we had the best day. They were seriously amazing and I would recommend this venue for any type of event on the beautiful grounds. Thanks again for everything!

We recently held our annual company clambake at Making Memories at Wiegand Lake Park, and it was absolutely perfect! We love having our company clambake here each year. Such a beautiful place, the grounds are simply gorgeous, very well kept, and there’s so much to do from paddle boats, corn hole, tractor rides, basketball, and more. The venue was laid out so nicely, there was truly something for everyone. The food was incredible, fresh, delicious, and more than enough to satisfy everyone. What really stood out was the staff, Carrie and Ken are fantastic to work with and truly go above and beyond to deliver an incredible experience, making sure every detail was taken care of. Our whole group had an amazing time, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend Making Memories at Wiegand Lake Park to anyone looking for a great venue for their next event.
