5 months agoWe went to this Rec center today to go swimming. There is a park outside and field. The building next to the pool area is an art and crafts center. The pool is big, heated and nice and warm. There is a sauna and locker rooms with stalls and showers as well. There is a spray pad as well, that water is cold. The lifeguards were nice and were doing their job well, they didn’t allow any jumping or kids running into the pool etc. We definitely want to come back and try out some of their activities like pottery classes!
9 months agoUnfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth. I mostly enjoyed the pottery class. However after being told by the instructor I would get a call to pick up my family's items. She never called and simply threw our creations away. We traveled from east side once a week and my kids and I were looking forward to our plates and bowls. Very disappointing. I hope this can be handled better for others in the future.
