Lovely theater. The volunteer ushers are very helpful. They have gotten the process of people moving down. No issues with the restroom during intermission nor getting a drink or snack. The seats are decent and I dont think there is a bad seat in the house just different viewing angles. Recommendation when you buy your tickets pay for the parking at the same time so you can park in the attached garage. They have emptying the garage down to a science as well.

2 weeks agoLovely old theater at playhouse square. Location of the Broadway Series. Seats tend to be on the small side especially with winter coats, etc. Bathrooms are large, accessible, and clean. Wide variety of refreshments available, and you can take them into the theater with you. The sound and lighting systems are both excellent. Plenty of parking nearby; plan on spending 10 to $20 per visit. As seniors, we tend to go to the matinees, and they are full. I imagine the evenings there could be busy, even hectic, with traffic and all of the theaters with offerings all at once. Playhouse Square is the second largest theater district outside of NYC. We are fortunate to have this so close! Thank you whomever revived Playhouse Square!
2 weeks agoA beautiful theater with a friendly staff! The snacks and drinks sold in the lobby were surprisingly good. Lots of places to sit in the lobby and upstairs while waiting for the doors to open. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The inside the theater is huge but the seats are well spaced so no matter where you are you can see!
