Cleveland Public Library - Woodland Branch: Cleveland Library Guide

Very friendly and attentive staff. I love how they have a play area for the kids to dress up, and read, and even play with you cars on the rugs. And also a coloring station my 5 year old loves. They have many computers and the books look almost brand new. Only think I didn't like was while I was reading my book the toilets kept flushing loud in the men's restroom and I had to keep starting my page over. But I'm sure that can be fixed overall I loved the place going back today for another read.

Today I went to this location of the Cuyahoga county public library on woodland avenue. The reason I went there was for a legal aid clinic to ask some questions that need to be answered for myself. There was quite a few people there! At first I was worried was I even going to be able to be seen. Luckily some people that were there earlier before me took it upon themselves and made a list with their names which I thought was a smart idea. Then one of the people that were with the legal aid team came out and went through that list and checked them in and then started checking in the newcomers such as myself. Then she also went over how it all works and once we got inside and what to expect. So we all went inside and waited to be called for our turn. Well finally they called my name and luckily for me I had could skip one of the steps because I had previously called probably two months ago and did an intake over the phone. So that saved me a little bit of time I got to meet with a couple lawyers right away. So I had all my questions written down and I began to ask them. There was only one thing that I wish I had looked up before I went there but it's not a big deal I can do a little more research along with your advice that they gave me. I found the lawyers to be easy to talk to and I was pleased with the outcome. This is a great benefit to have available to us in the Cleveland and surrounding areas. Thanks again for having this available for us as it's a great help!

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Would recommend this location and would come again.

This smaller branch has convenient hours and a VERY helpful staff. The selection of books is limited but movies and music are well stocked. With the branch-sharing it is easy and timely to get selections one may want. They have great programs for kids including afternoon lunch. This branch also runs a community garden right in back. BIG thumbs up to all the staff for their great work.
