“People say this public library offers a vast collection of books, including a literature floor with half a million books, and unique exhibits such as the Superman exhibit and chess collection. They highlight the beautiful architecture, both inside and outside, and the well-maintained building with many rooms to explore. They also like the friendly and visible staff.”
Beautiful architecture for a public library. Lots of marble and neat architectural effects with arches and painted high ceilings. We went for the Superman exhibit and were pleasantly surprised.
2 months agoIn Love with the architecture. Whatever you imagine for a library, they offer even more. There’s changing exhibits, a collection area that showcases ♟️ pieces historically from around the globe. There’s random art & sculptures to be discovered throughout. Oh! Yeah….theres books on top of books lol
a month agoLots of stuff at this 10 floor library and the older, main library section next door. The older section doesn't have as many outlets, but there are acres of places to relocate. Nice implementation of artwork, history, and creative spaces. If you want the old style or the new style of library, it's here. Kids area has youth services with it. It's a nice touch that it's on the fourth floor for security and the fourth floor also has international books to broaden their horizons
9 months agoWent on adventure, girls day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Bill on floor 3 was full of knowledge & pleasant. Enjoyed the chess collection. Restrooms were clean, all the staff were helpful. Too bad there is no parking, and won’t validate your parking ticket.
8 months agoWow! What a gorgeous building with views of the city and lake throughout. The collections are impressive and there seems to be something for everyone! We were impressed by the teen gaming room, the indoor reading room (that felt outdoors), the piano in the lobby, the makerspace, the outdoor area in between the buildings, and just about everything else! The dried flower exhibit was unreal!
